Mission Statement

Amazing Grace Ministries and Outreach Church (AGMOC) is dedicated to the mission of preaching, teaching, caring, and sharing.

Preaching to declare the gospel of Jesus Christ to a perishing world (John 3:16)

Teaching to train and build up the spiritual man for services (2 Timothy 2:15)

Caring and Sharing to meet the physical needs of mankind (Matthew 25:35-36)

AGMOC is dedicated to spreading the gospel of grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9)

AGMOC is dedicated to the mission of preaching and teaching by the power of the Holy Spirit in going beyond the walls of the local church building with the assurance that God's grace is sufficient to reach all men, women, boys, and girls. (Matthew 28:19-20)

Senior Pastor

Pastor Moses A Ward, Sr

Rev. Moses Ward rededicated his life to Christ and was baptized in 2000. Shortly after being baptized he answered the call to the gospel ministry and was licensed in 2001. He worked in several roles in the Baptist faith. In 2012, Rev. Ward was called and ordained to serve as the senior pastor of Friendship Baptist Church in Ames, IA. March 2026, God called him to serve as senior pastor of AGMOC.

Rev. Moses Ward is married to Sis. Breanne Ward, has 3 children (Madisen, Aliyah, and Moses Jr.), and 4 grandchildren. The guiding scripture of Rev. Ward’s life has remained Proverbs 18:16, “A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men” NKJV.

Our Founders

Lady and Pastor Emeritus Shade

In 1998, George and Marji Shade founded AGMOC. With love, patience, care, and sacrifice, this dynamic duo leaned on the power of the Holy Spirit to enrich the lives of those who were deemed left out and left behind. Under their leadership, they secured 2 locations, purchase a bus and van, and have countless testimonies of leading people out of dark places to the Lord.

They have 3 children, with an abundance of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and friends and family across the country.
